The computer-magazine-site mindshare report

On the Web we can measure mindshare directly, as density of interconnection. This report ranks computer magazine sites, as listed in the Yahoo directory, by the number of pages that link to those sites, as recorded in the AltaVista index.

The BYTE site, which I launched in 1995 and ran until mid-1998, appears 4th on this list of 472 sites. The Linux Magazine site, which is one of my current projects, is 148th.
